Abstract

2-week intensive “Yoga Studies Summer School” took place at the Institute for the Study of Religions of Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland) between 21st July and 5th August 2017. It was a learning platform for students, scholars, and yoga-teachers interested in academic studies of yoga. World-famous specialists leaded classes on a wide range of topics related to the history, philosophy, and psychology of yoga. Participants from 16 countries exchanged their research outcomes in different fields of yoga. Such workshops as Sanskrit recitation and practice of yoga techniques were included.
