Abstract

The translation of the short story “The feminist” written by the famous Turkish writer, diplomat and politician Memduh Şevket Esendal from the book “The Drops of Pure Love” published in Ankara in 1965 was made as an attempt to present literature of the best Turkish writers of XXth century to the Ukrainian audience. The translation of the “Feminist” into Ukrainian language is carried out for the first time, which enables Ukrainian reader to get acquainted with the creative work of the master of the Humorous Satire Stories, whose works occupy a prominent place in the Turkish literature of the Republican period.
